Background

Launched in 2008 the Thame Food Festival was established with the specific aim of creating a great local community event in the centre of this historic market town to support local food producers, chefs, food establishments and retailers www.thamefoodfestival.co.uk

Marketing Foods was invited to do the marketing and PR for the event held in September 2011.

  • Boosting stall holder numbers whilst maintaining spirit of event
  • Arranging local celebrity chef demonstrations
  • Copy and design for promotional flyers and souvenir programme
  • PR campaign to promote the event
  • Children’s workshops, talks and tours
  • Sponsorship campaign
  • Attendance and compering at the event
  • Design concept and development of new website for 2011
  • Satellite event organisation to raise awareness and promote the event

Very successful festival with over 65 stallholders and approximately 15,000 visitors. We secured Lotte Duncan as our Patron and Raymond Blanc as Ambassador for the festival.
